Turning 5 Workshop For SEITs

As a SEIT we provide support and advocacy to help families navigate the turning-5-process. There are many aspects about this process to consider. What is the best placement for the child? General Ed? ICT? 12:1? Private Special Ed schools? Pendency? When do you need a lawyer or a neuropsychological evaluation?  When do these steps need to be done by? How do we help parents focus and make choices on which roads to take? This workshop will go over the time line of events as well as what supports we can recommend to families.
